Hi everyone! 👋 I’m Daniel, a first-year medical student at UNSW, offering personalised tutoring for UCAT, medical/dental interviews, and NCEA subjects. I graduated from high school in New Zealand (2023), finishing a year early through the accelerated programme, and achieved an ATAR of 99.5 (99.95 with EAS). After scoring 2880 (~83rd percentile) on my first UCAT attempt with minimal prep, I took a gap year, worked part-time as a cashier, refined my strategies, and lifted my score to 3170 (94th percentile), with full marks in Quantitative Reasoning (900) and a 707 SJT. 🎯 This earned me offers from UNSW Medicine and UQ Dentistry, plus interviews at Notre Dame Sydney and Griffith. Through experience and targeted practice, I’ve developed efficient study methods, time-saving UCAT techniques, and interview strategies that helped me succeed and can help you do the same. ✅ UCAT section-specific strategies ✅ Interview mock practice + feedback ✅ NCEA tutoring (Economics, Biology, etc.)
I am a MSc(Research) graduate who has been working as a Data Engineer for the past 3 years. I have been on maternity leave for the past couple of months and am excited to get back into the workforce. While in university, I was a tutor with Inspiration Education, and I tutored English and the sciences. I also taught Biochemisty at Waikato University as a tutor. I enjoy teaching as I believe the way a student is taught a subject really helps them form a connection to it, and this opens up new interests and career pathways for them.
I am a private English tutor with many years of experience. My tutoring experience includes community English classes, online lessons with Chinese students, two years of English literature tutoring experience with the online company Cluey Learning, and on-going private lessons through word of mouth. I have also taught full-time as a Secondary Teacher in the past in other subjects including Social Studies, Religious Studies, Chinese, and Te Reo Maori.
Over the past fifteen years, I have worked with students at all levels and abilities and of varying nationalities. At a personal level, I am friendly and approachable whilst always maintaining a professional attitude. I am also flexible and adaptable and prepared to adjust my teaching to match the student’s learning style. As a teacher, I take time to build a rapport with the student and to understand their goals. I take considerable pride in preparing teaching resources and designing lesson plans that align with those goals. Furthermore, I reflect on all my lessons and continually evaluate my methods to ensure my students are receiving the very best tuition and that, as a teacher, I am working towards continuous improvement.
Kia Ora, I’m a first year university student who’s just completed NCEA with excellence endorsed throughout all three years, as well as multiple scholarship subjects. I enjoy talking to people and helping and I’d love to help more students succeed.
Both my parents come from Germany, so I am very fortunate to have German as one of my native languages. I grew up in Dunedin; however, I have lived in Germany for 2 years where I went to a German Gymnasium. Being a private tutor has given me great communication and people skills. I have learnt how to help different people based on their needs. Private tutoring is something I really enjoy since it gives me the ability to pass my knowledge onto others. Through private tutoring I have been able to help people and see them succeed which has brought me a lot of joy. My tutoring sessions have contributed to a significant increase in my students' test scores by providing them with personalized tutoring sessions. I was and am able to implement innovative teaching techniques to maintain student interest and engagement during lengthy tutoring sessions. I tutor a range of subjects from primary to high school level, apart from German which I teach at university level.
Hello! My name is Hannie, and I am a patient and supportive tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and understanding in their learning. I have experience supporting younger students through informal tutoring and volunteering in English, Biology, Chemistry, Calculus, and Physics. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, step-by-step explanations and adapting my teaching style to each student. I was Proxime Accessit in Year 13 (with first in English, second in Biology and Calculus, and distinction in Physics and Chemistry), received the top Academic Cup in Year 11 and Year 12, won a Senior Secondary Oratory Award, and received Excellence endorsements throughout high school. I achieved a 98 ATAR equivalent, with strong strengths in English and science subjects. I commenced tertiary studies in health sciences at university and am currently taking a gap year, with plans to return to study next year. I look forward to the opportunity to support students in their learning journey.

Hi, I’m Yenuthi! I’m a high-achieving student based in Auckland who enjoys helping others succeed. I’m patient, approachable, and good at explaining tricky concepts in a simple, clear way. I adapt to each student’s learning style and focus on building both understanding and confidence. I’ve supported classmates through peer tutoring and know how to break down content into manageable steps. Being familiar with NCEA, I can also share useful study tips and exam strategies. I’m reliable, organised, and aim to make sessions productive, supportive, and easy to follow.
Hi, I'm Taha. I’m a current Year 13 student with consistent Excellence results, top student in my school, subject awards, and experience in both the old and new NCEA systems. I’ve tutored through my school’s homework club and worked with classmates one-on-one, so I know exactly where students struggle and how to explain things in a way that actually makes sense. As someone still in the system, I teach the material the way NCEA markers actually expect. I can help with understanding content, improving grades, exam prep, or general study habits. My rates are flexible. Contact me if you're interested.
Hi there, my name is Anna! I received Level 1, 2 and 3 Excellence Endorsement in NCEA and came 2nd in NCEA Level 3 Computer Science/ Digital Technologies. I also received a $16,000 AUT Find Your Greatness Scholarship which is awarded to high school leaver students who shows academic excellence and involvement across the school and community. I was a school prefect and an academic peer tutor, where in my free time I would help out students in subjects they required support on. I used to get tutoring myself for NCEA subjects so I know what it feels like to be in a student's position. With my talkative energy and experience in school tutoring, I know I have what it takes to help students out with the subjects they require help in. That's why I think I'd make a great tutor.
