Hi everyone! 👋 I’m Daniel, a first-year medical student at UNSW, offering personalised tutoring for UCAT, medical/dental interviews, and NCEA subjects. I graduated from high school in New Zealand (2023), finishing a year early through the accelerated programme, and achieved an ATAR of 99.5 (99.95 with EAS). After scoring 2880 (~83rd percentile) on my first UCAT attempt with minimal prep, I took a gap year, worked part-time as a cashier, refined my strategies, and lifted my score to 3170 (94th percentile), with full marks in Quantitative Reasoning (900) and a 707 SJT. 🎯 This earned me offers from UNSW Medicine and UQ Dentistry, plus interviews at Notre Dame Sydney and Griffith. Through experience and targeted practice, I’ve developed efficient study methods, time-saving UCAT techniques, and interview strategies that helped me succeed and can help you do the same. ✅ UCAT section-specific strategies ✅ Interview mock practice + feedback ✅ NCEA tutoring (Economics, Biology, etc.)
I am a MSc(Research) graduate who has been working as a Data Engineer for the past 3 years. I have been on maternity leave for the past couple of months and am excited to get back into the workforce. While in university, I was a tutor with Inspiration Education, and I tutored English and the sciences. I also taught Biochemisty at Waikato University as a tutor. I enjoy teaching as I believe the way a student is taught a subject really helps them form a connection to it, and this opens up new interests and career pathways for them.
I am a private English tutor with many years of experience. My tutoring experience includes community English classes, online lessons with Chinese students, two years of English literature tutoring experience with the online company Cluey Learning, and on-going private lessons through word of mouth. Over the past fifteen years, I have worked with students at all levels and abilities and of varying nationalities. At a personal level, I am friendly and approachable whilst always maintaining a professional attitude. I am also flexible and adaptable and prepared to adjust my teaching to match the student’s learning style. As a teacher, I take time to build a rapport with the student and to understand their goals. I take considerable pride in preparing teaching resources and designing lesson plans that align with those goals. Furthermore, I reflect on all my lessons and continually evaluate my methods to ensure my students are receiving the very best tuition and that, as a teacher, I am working towards continuous improvement.
Kia Ora, I’m a first year university student who’s just completed NCEA with excellence endorsed throughout all three years, as well as multiple scholarship subjects. I enjoy talking to people and helping and I’d love to help more students succeed.

With strong English skills developed through my law studies and practical experience, I am confident in my ability to help students improve their writing, critical thinking, and historical analysis skills.
